The next time it tried to load it kept giving me errors and wouldn't allow me to choose a different game. I switched games thru settings and removed Andromeda. The main problem was that FMM was configured to be ran as admin, but initially it was auto loading Andromeda and I wanted to see if it could be directed to the correct target. At least I got in the game again, we'll see how it goes from there. After fully dumping everything and starting over and manually running as administrator it finally worked. It seemed to work tho I had other flags after that. UPDATE: I thought I had FMM configured to be ran as administrator, but I decided to manually do that as well. This is the datapath fix I tried that doesn't work This is the FrostyFix executable that crashes when choosing Andromeda This is the FrostyFix I can't see how to use This should still work or no one else could be using it. I know I should have tried to use FrostyFix before I reinstalled, but whats done cannot be undone. I've combed thru videos and other tutorials, but I can't get past this path error for some reason. But even the executable will give this error when trying to choose Andromeda and closes FrostyFix. And another was executable so I tried that one. Another didn't have anyway to execute, shelved that one. One just had the plugin for the path files - tried that, didn't work. I searched for the FrostyFix and there are many. Tried running the game to create this path but it doesn't. "Access to the path 'C:\Program Files\EA Games\Mass Effect Andromeda\ModData\' is denied."īecause its not there. Now the FMM gives me a path error saying: Obviously that is the issue, but I tried to resolve it by deleting the game and reinstalling it. I soon remembered that the only thing that has happened is Origin was replaced with the EA app. So I booted up the game again last night and noticed the mods weren't working.
